New Metallic Style
G-Shock GM-110 series

If you’re in the market for a reliable shock-resistant watch, Casio’s G-Shock is one of the first timepieces that come to mind. What’s also appealing is that the company constantly refreshes its lineup — its most recent addition being the new GM-110 series.

With its bold colours and new materials, the GM-110 series references the design of the popular GA-110, which is famous for its analogue-digital time telling on a large watch face. The GM-110 models follow this same format but instead feature a metal finish, giving off more of an industrial vibe while still retaining the G-Shock’s classic street style.

Crafted in stainless steel, the bezel of the GM-110 has undergone about 20 forging, cutting, and polishing processes — and minute protrusions on the inner case help reduce surface contact with the bezel. The silver GM-110-1A features a mirrored finish on the silver bezel, while gold ion plating on the GM-110G is given an all-mirror finish. The multicoloured GM-110B features a black background to highlight the colourful dial with shades of blue, purple, and green, while the GM-110RB provides a full-blown colour burst. The bezel is treated with chrome effect rainbow plating while the band and dial use red and blue shading.

The GM-110 series is paired with a thick resin band and metallic buckle. High-intensity LEDs light up the watch face for easy the readability in the dark. Other features include water-resistance of up to 200 metres, magnetic resistance, an auto-calendar, and more.
