Not long ago we talked about the LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GTS RS which is now parked comfortably in our office. And soon, Lego will add another to their collection of nostalgic vehicles; one that’s sure to fulfill another of our childhood dreams.
LEGO has recently added the iconic Volkswagen Beetle to its Creator series to be available in August 2016. The 1,167 piece model measures 11 inches high, 10 inches long and 4 inches wide, and features a distinctive 60s inspired theme. The set’s accessories include a surfboard, a cooler box, a shaker, and even a beach towel; everything you’d need for a beach party. The Beetle set also comes with a set of four license plate options and surfer-themed rear window stickers. To make the model even more irresistible, LEGO recreated Beetle sports curved fenders, a flat windshield, a detailed four-cylinder air-cooled engine, and best of all, the model comes in Volkswagen’s classic Robin Egg Blue colour scheme.
