This exquisite, yet affordable 1:8 scale LEGO version of Porsche’s latest 911 GT3 RS  is the creation of design duo Andrew Woodman and Uwe Wabra, who, during the development process of this kit made numerous trips to the Porsche factory to ensure every part adhered to its original shape, design, and functionality. At 17cm high, 57cm long and 25cm wide, the bright factory orange RS body is definitely something to behold. Once assembled, you can open the doors to access the remarkably detailed cockpit or lift the rear lid to examine Porsche’s notorious flat-six engine, complete with moving pistons.

No less than 2,704 blocks were used to create this sleek model – including surreal features such as red suspension coils, detailed headlights and taillights, brake calipers, true-to-life-rims, low profile tires, a complete dashboard and working gearbox, racing seats as well as a steering wheel with gearshift paddles. Each unit arrives in a luxurious box complete with a collection of authentic stickers and a unique serial number for downloading exclusive freebies on the web.

Priced at a very accessible US$299.99, the LEGO-Technics 911 GT3 RS will be available at shop.LEGO.com and in 13 LEGO stores across Germany and Austria starting June 1st. The inner-child in all of us can’t wait.
