The Volkswagen campervan is a signature icon of the free-spirited sixties. It is instantly recognisable and almost universally adored (except perhaps by those that make a living working on them). Home appliance brand Gorenje took inspiration from the famous VW Bulli concept car and launched a special edition refrigerator for its best-selling retro collection.

For this partnership, Gorenje has combined VW’s iconic design with today’s technology. The fridge follows the two-colour paint scheme and silver V-shaped motif of the classic van . The special edition fridge doesn’t just look stylish at home, it is technically sophisticated. The special IonAir with DynamiCooling feature allows even temperature distribution throughout the whole fridge, while the air inside is enriched with extra negative ions that keeps the food fresh for longer. It is also highly energy-efficient and has a large capacity of 260 litres. The fridge is available in two colourways fitting of the vintage aesthetic: baby blue and bordeaux.
