Leica has collaborated with Marcus Wainwright, CEO and designer of the New York-based fashion label “Rag & Bone”, to created the Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) “Stealth Edition”. The limited edition camera takes the discreet unobtrusiveness favoured by black and white photographers to the extreme and features a dedicated scratch-resistant, matte body paint to make the camera as black as possible.

The leather trim of the camera is in matching jet-black and made from a smooth full-grain cowhide. To visually highlight the design concept, the most important engravings on the camera and lens are finished with a fluorescent paint that glows in the dark, enabling faster setting of the aperture in low-light situations and various environments. The Stealth Edition is limited to 125 camera sets worldwide and each has its own serial number. Each set includes a Summicron-M 35 mm f/2 ASPH lens, a black fabric carrying strap, a metal front cap for the lens and a certificate of authenticity.
