Fun Loving Mobility
Honda’s interesting concepts at Tokyo Motor Show

At the Tokyo Motor Show, which is taking place right now, Honda has shown us some imaginative concepts in addition to the usual EV fare. These interesting concepts will probably not go into production, but they represent how advanced technology and mobility help bringing people together, making life more convenient and fun.

The RobaCas is developed with Honda’s autonomous mobility technology, but it is more like a food cart or coffee stand. With its cute appearance it can also put on an entertainment show. Another robotic concept is the Ai-Miimo. It is an electric autonomous lawnmower with the ability to communicate with people and support daily life, like a partner.

Designed for people who like to move along the streets without spending much effort, the ChairMobi is compact and stable for going into narrow spaces and even up and down slopes. The height of the seat is adjustable so that user can still fit into the crowd easily. If you prefer traveling closely with a companion, the FureMobi has a unique layout that seats two persons and is not much bigger than the ChairMobi.

The IeMobi is the most “car-like” concept out of these, though it is still more of a mobile multi-function room. The interior is around five square metres, hence it can easily become an extension of your living space with all the settings synchronised between the two spaces.
