Imagine your favorite vehicle emerging from liquid metal as if it was surfacing from water? The team at Discommon has brought this idea life by creating this one-of-a-kind coffee table targeted directly at people like us.

The coffee table is crafted from a 4-foot long, 4-inch thick of slab of aluminium, leaving a vehicle an intrinsic part of the table’s surface. It takes 50 hours for designers to create a prototype and another 50 hours for texture development. Upon ordering, you can pick your vehicle of choice, the surface finish and texture plan with the team, and then approve the design and the hard anodised colour. The series will eventually consist of 10 tables, with two creations already being made; the Ferrari F40 shown in the gallery above and a Ford GT.
