The latest work of motion graphics artist Chris Cousins, named ‘Side Effects’, is a visual journey exploring the side effects of social media. In this short film, you will see the names and logos of various social media platforms printed on pill bottles or capsules, while the heart-shaped-button that we use to show appreciation towards others’ posts has become white pills packed into bottles. The largest platform for sharing video in the world becomes a metal roller in the factory, grinding the drugs into powder.

It seems that this factory provides non-stop digital pharmaceutical drugs together with their ‘Side Effects’ for the whole world.
