In recent years, fashion brands have tried to recreate classic sneaker designs by using premium materials and adding a more contemporary look to the iconic silhouettes. French footwear label “both” is no exception.

After spending 30 years researching and experimenting with natural rubber, the team has successfully recreated a series of high and low-tops, incorporating high-quality leathers and tactile cotton, embracing quality and durability while reimagining the classic models in a modern way.

Here, we present their 2017 fall/winter collection, titled “Juxtapose”, featuring classic court shoes and utility boots elevated with technical details and cutting-edge production. With uppers made from natural rubber originating from South Asia and using a monochromatic colour palette of black and white, the resulting collection embraces a soothing neutrality and minimalist aesthetics.
