Blackbird Concessionaires has showcased the exclusive Ferrari Tailor-Made programme in Hong Kong, with a special launch event at its showroom in Repulse Bay. The Tailor-Made programme continues a long Ferrari tradition that began in the 1950s, a time when clients regularly personalised their cars and enjoyed huge freedom when it came to materials, colours and finishes. Years later, the Tailor-Made programme now offers even more comprehensive options to its clients, from the exterior livery colour to the cabin trim, via a completely unprecedented choice of finishes, accessories, material, treatments and colours, allowing clients to design one-of-a-kind cars that are tailored to suit their desires.
The Tailor-Made programme features three main collections – the Scuderia takes its inspiration from Ferrari’s racing history, offering a choice of motorsport-derived materials, finishes and liveries; the Classica collection offers a modern twist on the styling cues and features of Maranello’s iconic GTs of the 1950s onwards; the Inedita lives up to its progressive name by introducing an element of experimentation and innovation in terms of styling, colours and materials. In addition, clients will be assigned their own Personal Designer to guide them throughout the selection process, guaranteeing that the resulting cars are both unique and consistent with Ferrari’s brand and its traditions.
As a part of the Tailor-Made programme, clients will be invited to Ferrari’s factory in Maranello to see a huge array of sample materials, treatments and colours. There is also a material scanner that will provide owners with a preview of the final result.
This exclusive programme is currently available for all Ferrari models, and the latest GTC4Lusso T, which was officially introduced to Hong Kong alongside Tailor-Made by Blackbird Concessionaires, is certainly no exception. The first ever four-seater configuration from Maranello to be powered by Ferrari’s award-winning turbocharged V8 engine, the GTC4Lusso T offers incredible throttle response, performance and outright acceleration at all speeds.
Ferrari engineers have adopted a rear-wheel drive driveline for the GTC4Lusso T, with the integration of both F1-Trac and the E-Diff electronic differential to optimise traction and torque delivery to the rear wheels.
By using the Tailor-Made programme, clients can customise their GTC4Lusso T in order to create a completely unique and personal Ferrari, that no one else has ever, or will ever, have.
