Bel & Bel

Upcycling old motor parts and turning them into furniture pieces are not something new, yet Bel & Bel from Barcelona is doing a decent job with their thoughtful designs. They gather old chassis of Italian scooters and create comfortable ergonomic chairs from them. The Scooter Chair is all hand made and has a reclining feature, a reinforced internal structure and a base with hydraulic piston for regulating and adjusting the height. Bel & Bel even keeps the front lights workable to make the chair more fun.

No less imaginative is their customised self-balancing scooter. Staying true to the style of the motor scooters created by Corradino D’Ascanio, Zero Scooter is a “conversion kit” that works with NineBot’s self-balancing scooter. You can either buy the whole thing or just the kit for modifying existing NineBot model. The Zero Scooter has an adequate top speed of 20km/h and can be remotely controlled through the dedicated smartphone app.
