In commemoration of Lewis Hamilton’s 44th career victory in 2016 Monaco Grand Prix, helmet supplier Bell Helmets is releasing the LH44 helmet for Hamilton’s fans.

The LH44 represents the first time that Hamilton has allowed the production of a limited edition replica. The LH44 is an exact copy of the helmet and visor he used at Monaco, created by Hamilton’s helmet artist. Only 44 numbered helmets, featuring a visor signed by Hamilton were produced and sold with a Certificate of Authenticity. Each LH44 arrives in a premium plexiglass case

Meanwhile, Hamilton is inviting his fans to design a brand-new racing helmet for him for the upcoming 2017 F1 season. “I’m on the lookout for a dope new layout that evolves my current theme and features the candy apple red in my existing design. I’ll be picking the design that I feel is the most stylish, inspiring, iconic and eye-catching,” said Hamilton. Details of the competition can be found here.
