Jannarelly Design-1 hardtop version

Jannarelly sports cars have a small-scale production run and are hand-built to maintain their exclusivity while still allowing buyers some customisation. It seems the carbon fibre hard top and windscreen option for the roadster-style Jannarelly Design-1 is so popular that the startup is now launching it officially.

Jannarelly has referenced the canopy style of military aircraft for the solid hard top for Design-1. Instead of having the roof retracted back like many convertibles, the top flips forward. With the side windows attached to the roof rather than being fitted in the doors, the roof has to be opened for the driver and passenger to get in or out. The slight inconvenience, if any, is countered by the breathtaking look.

The original Design-1 Launch Edition is approximately USD 84,000 including delivery and drivetrain assembly within the U.S. The hardtop and windscreen package is priced extra and comes with a built-in defogger, wipers, heater and air-conditioning.
