Fisker "EMotion" EV

Henrik Fisker has shared some new images of his EMotion electric car through his Twitter account. According to the world-renowned car designer, his soon-to-be-released EMotion will be 20% lighter than comparably-sized models, with a 400-mile range from its electric powertrain and a top speed of 161 mph.

The EMotion will also introduce new styles and proportions for the luxury sports sedan category with its bold sculptural body and greenhouse-emphasising aerodynamics. For example, the sports sedan will feature a large curved front windscreen pushed forward so that it merges into the extremely low bonnet. It will also feature a composite, carbon fibre and aluminium structure with an innovative battery integration. The new graphene-made battery is provided by Fisker Nanotech, a joint venture between Fisker Inc. and Naotech Energy Inc. The design increases power and sustains longer battery life while also introducing new packaging methodology and lightweight materials for the battery pack.

Said to be produced in an existing facility in the USA, the EMotion electric car will make its debut on Aug 17, 2017.
