A Brilliant Brick-ation
Airbnb offers an one-night stay at LEGO House

Good news for LEGO fans! Airbnb has launched a contest that offers a family an overnight stay in the newly-built Lego House in Billund, Denmark. All you have to do is to answer this question on or before November 16: If you and your family had an infinite supply of LEGO bricks, what would you build?

Open since just September, the brick-complex was designed by the architectural firm BIG, formed by the famed Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, and comprises 21 white bricks stacked on top of each other, crowned by an oversized 2×4 LEGO brick named the “Keystone”.

During this once-in-a-lifetime visit, the Lego House will be temporarily closed to the public. The winner will receive a welcome from Jamie, one of the most heralded master builders in the world, who will give the family a private tour of “the house of 25 million LEGO bricks”. The winner will also have various LEGO experiences, including lunch served by two friendly robot waiters, directing your own LEGO movie, and most importantly, the opportunity of sleeping in a bedroom floating in a pool of bricks underneath a 6-meter-tall LEGO waterfall. The certainly sounds like a dream come true to the LEGO fans.

Before checking in to the LEGO House, here is a gentle reminder from Airbnb: Parents are advised to wear LEGO-proof slippers at all times.
