100 MP Aerial Camera
DJI M600 Pro × Hasselblad A6D-100c

The demand for aerial photography work is only growing – and not just in the photography sector, but in other areas such as mapping. Earlier this year, China-based drone company DJI acquired majority stake of iconic Swedish camera company Hasselblad, so it makes perfect sense for the two brands to work together. Following last year’s launch of the first aerial set M600 × A5D, we now have DJI M600 Pro x Hasselblad A6D-100c, a more professional, 100 megapixel drone camera set.

Featuring a 100MP (11600 × 8700 pixels) 53.4 x 40.0 mm CMOS sensor, the camera can capture the details and colours truthfully even in poor lighting conditions. Specifically for aerial photography, the A6D-100c includes a feature that allows up to eight cameras to be synchronised within 20 μs with just a simple bus-type cable connection between all cameras. This feature helps to avoid any issues in post-production due to un-synchronised exposures. In terms of lenses, currently nine H System lenses are available for A6D-100c, with focal length ranging from 24 to 300mm and in a horizontal AFOV of 96° to 10.2° that cover most situations. Additionally, the exposure time of these lenses is up to 1/4000 of a second for capturing sharp and crisp images. Combined with the M600 Pro drone, the duo can offer excellent images for environment surveying and mapping, architecture, creative photography and beyond. DJI M600 Pro x Hasselblad A6D-100c will be launched at the Smart Drone Demonstration & Experience Day held in Construction Industry Council’s Zero Carbon Building on November 4th and 5th.
