Milanese artist and photographer Alessandro Paglia has always been a master of pen and paper. His beautiful and delicate strokes in the black and white drawings are so fine that viewers may take a second look to confirm whether these are drawings or photographs. Paglia’s latest series of drawings has taken iconic classic cars as his theme.

Ranging from 1937 Bugatti Atlantic Type 57, 1954 Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO to 1970 Lamborghini Miura, these vintage cars come alive under Paglia’s marvellous skills. There is a sense of realism and 3D-ness in his work, as Paglia uses 0.8mm pens for achieving the richest shade of black, then refine the areas with a 0.3mm pens.
