A Conceptual Teleavia P111 Remade by South Korea’s PDF HAUS

What factors do you consider when buying a TV? Resolution? Screen size? If you happen to be a sci-fi fan, or you are obsessed with Space Age design, this particular set is the one you’d want, if only it was real.

South Korea-based design firm PDF HAUS has created a conceptual television that pays tribute to the iconic Teleavia P111 designed by Frenchman Roger Tallon in the 1960s. The remake features all the distinctive elements of the original, like the leather handle, subtle curves and rounded corners, and comes with a variety of present-day ports (HDMI, USB, etc.) at the back, while the iconized controls have been moved to the bottom of the screen. The futuristic-looking TV comes with a compact remote and speakers located in both the front and the back of the set.

If this concept eventually materialised, we would definitely love to have one in our living room.
