Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale exhibition

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the Italian automaker is putting together an exhibition for this special model to commemorate the big day.

First debuted on 31 August 1967 before the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix at Monza, just 18 examples of the two-litre V8-powered 33 Stradale were built and five of those became concept cars – finding a clean example is a rare sight nowadays.

The exhibition is happening right now at the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese, Milan. Other exhibits include five of the six concept cars derived from the 33 chassis, namely the Carabo, Iguana, 33/2 Speciale, Cuneo and Navajo and the 33/2 Daytona, 33/3, 33 TT12 and 33 SC12 turbo racing cars.
