New Balance recently debuted its brand-new 247 silhouette. Taking inspiration from the concept of “Style of Your Life”, the 247 is described as the “perfect 24/7 companion” for urban living. The shoes feature full-grain leather with a stretch synthetic nubuck sock construction for enhanced comfort and a contemporary look. The new silhouette also updates various design motifs from the heritage models of New Balance, such as the asymmetrical detail on the toe vamp from the 1300; the collar strap design from the 574 and 576, as well as the REVLite midsole of the 998.
