True 4K Gaming
Xbox One X

With E3 2017 happening right now, Microsoft finally has unveiled the enhanced version of Xbox One that has been in the pipeline for quite some time under the ‘Project Scorpio’ moniker. The new console, named Xbox One X, bears a physical similarity to the Xbox One S, but with a new black and grey palette. The X isn’t about looks though, it’s about performance.

Making “True 4K” its selling point, the console allows 4K Blu-ray DVD playback and offers 4K 60fps gaming quality. It also supports HDR and Dolby Atmos surround sound and is truly compatible with 4K televisions. Another area worth noting is that the console not only supports all current Xbox One games and accessories, it is even backwards-compatible with original Xbox and Xbox 360 games. This is definitely a good news for diehard gamers with a huge collection.

With no exciting games to support, all the technical advancements would mean nothing though. Fortunately, Forza Motorsport 7 and Gears of War 4 are among the first batch of Xbox One X games to be released, making the console very much worth looking forward to.
