When was the last time you rode a tricycle? Most likely, it’ll be when you were just a kid, but this fun electric trike from Vook may tempt you to take up the three-wheeled life again.

Built using a lightweight aluminium frame, the Vook E-Trike is more than a simple toy. The tricycle is powered by two 3000W hub motors paired with a 50 Ah lithium-ion battery that offers up to 180 km of range from a single charge. The 100-metre sprint takes just seven seconds, and you’ll be topping out at 65 km/h in ‘boost’ mode, while other modes including safe, eco, and sport can be selected for varying power delivery characteristics. With a 20-inch off-road front tyre, the Vook runs smoothly on different terrain and is great for drifting.

The Vook features a 6.5-inch water-resistant LCD screen, but the rider can also swap the screen with their smartphone, and the control and customisations of the settings are all handled through the Vook Smart app. The overall frame and the custom fibreglass seat with eco-leather are designed with ergonomic support, ensuring a comfortable ride even on long journeys. The trunk at the back of the trike is designed to store extra batteries and can double as a power bank, though a 14-inch laptop can also fit inside the space on shorter trips.

The Vook E-Trike is currently raising funds on Indiegogo. If the project is fully backed for production then it’s hoped shipping will start in December.
