The More The Merrier
More cars to be added to Gran Turismo Sport

When Gran Turismo Sport was first launched, fans of the game felt a little disappointed with the number of cars available in the game. The 160-odd machines available are way down on the previous titles, and thankfully the game’s creator Polyphony Digital is taking care of the issue and adding more cars to the game. Whether this was always planned or just a response to gamers’ comments is unknown.

Update 1.06 went online on November 27, and we saw three distinctive cars added as free DLC, namely the Audi R18 Le Mans prototype, Shelby Cobra 427 and the long awaited IsoRivolta Zagato Vision Gran Turismo. Some elements of the physics simulation model have also been improved via this update and it is certainly noticeable, especially when driving road cars.

A further update is also planned for December this year. Along with the new “GT League” single player game mode, 12 extra cars will be added to the game including the legendary Ferrari F40. The full new car list is as follows: Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible C3, Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevrolet Nova, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F40, Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, KTM X-Bow R, Lamborghini Countach LP400, Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A FD3S, Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II R32, Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II R34, Suzuki Swift Sport and Volkswagen Samba Bus Type 2.

Polyphony Digital also promises approximately 35 cars will be added by March 2018 in addition to those mentioned above. New tracks in the coming months is also part of the plan.
