The Grand Invention
The Every Day Calendar

We have all experienced setting goals for ourselves and failing to achieve them in the end. As mentioned by inventor Simone Giertz, keeping the commitments are really hard. She no longer created funny robots like the wake-up robot or the breakfast machine, she created an electric calendar composed by 365 light-up buttons.

The design is minimal and easy to use.  Just like how you would get a golden sticker when you accomplish a goal, the button with the date will simply light-up when you press on it. Hence, it has a non-volatile memory, that means even if it is turned off or with no electricity, your record will be seen when you turn it on again. If you would like to use it for keeping track of regular activities that you need to do, just press on those days too, the lights are meant to serve as reminder for those important events. Finally when the whole board is light-up, I am sure you will have a great sense of satisfaction.
