Striking and exclusive, this 399-piece limited edition Scuderia Ferrari watch has been designed in close partnership with the Ferrari Design Team in Maranello. The pinnacle timepiece features a unique 44 mm case construction; its polished black carbon fibre case is held within an open circular-brushed stainless steel framework that features extended sport lugs and a narrow matte black ion-plated bezel.
Circling the bezel, an Arabic minute scale in the Ferrari font is engraved into the brushed case. The stainless-steel time crown with etched Cavallino and the red reflector ring crown both sport a knurled texture inspired the grips on an automotive mechanic’s hand tools. Framed by a rotating black minute reflector ring with grey printing and red/white rev segment, proudly bearing the name PRIMATO AUTOMATICO and a stainless steel Scudetto, the sportive 3-hand dial in polished black carbon fiber is defined by day and date windows, applied Arabic numerals/markers and skeletonized matte black hour/minute hands enhanced with white Super-LumiNova, and a needle-thin team red sweeping seconds hand with Scudetto-outline counterbalance.
Secured by four tiny screws, the steel rim around the exhibition case-back is engraved “SWISS MADE AUTOMATIC” and customized with the watch’s individual number from the 399-piece limited edition. The sapphire crystal centre reveals the intricate inner workings of the fine Sellita 26-jewel self-winding movement with a custom-designed red rotor branded with a stainless steel Scudetto. Each timepiece is tuned to balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and it features a 38-hour power reserve.
Presented on a free-falling sport strap crafted of black Cordura nylon and impeccably finished with a Scudetto-debossed red leather lining, black top-stitching, distinctive square-holes and logo-detailed classic brushed steel buckle, each limited edition Primato Automatico Scuderia Ferrari watch comes inside a custom-designed box with an engraved metal plate.
