Roofless Rimac C_Two imagined

Rimac’s latest electric hypercar, the C_Two, has been generating plenty of buzz since its Geneva debut last week, but the wait will be long; the Croatian automaker has indicated that delivery will only begin in 2020. While we are waiting for more information on the car, designer Aksyonov Nikita has taken the top off the 1914 hp hypercar.

Nikita has only made minimal modifications to the digital roofless version, which makes perfect sense as the original Rimac C_Two is already a beautiful machine. The only changes (apart from the obvious) is the door now opens a few inches lower on the body. How taking the top off a hypercar sprinting 0-100 km/h in 1.85 seconds will affect its performance is uncertain, but this is an experiment worth doing.

Will these drawings inspire Rimac to build a topless version? Probably not. However, if any of the 150 future owners of Rimac C_Two dares to convert the hypercar according to Nikita’s design as a aftermarket exercise, we will definitely be covering that come 2020.
