Hennessey to unveil Venom F5 production version

Hennessey has released a new rendering of its new Venom F5 ahead of the official launch at the SEMA Show on November 1st. The new hypercar was first announced in 2014 and now the automaker is finally ready to unveil the production version.

The F5 is named for the Fujita tornado scale and F5 is the top rating, covering tornadoes with wind speeds between 261 and 318 miles per hour. Set to replace the current Venom GT, which already offers spectacular figures such as 1451 hp, 7.0-litre V8 engine, a top speed of 270.4 mph, the Venom F5 will definitely surpass its predecessor and have a top speed of over 290 mph. It wouldn’t be a surprise if it sits at the top of the chart of the world’s fastest road cars. Its chassis and body design is completely brand new and the car will be built in Texas.

The unveiling event will take place on November 1st at 11am PST and will be streamed live on Hennessey’s YouTube, Facebook and Instagram channels.
