Rare and brand new
1997 McLaren F1 for sale

It is rare to see a very limited-edition car come up for sale, but it’s even rarer to see a car like this McLaren F1 offered in brand new condition. Chassis no. 60 out of the 64 road-going McLaren F1s built was delivered to a Japanese buyer in 1997. It  has never been driven nor registered by its one and only owner, and the interior is still covered by factory protective wrapping. It has only 239 km on the clock, which all comes from testing by McLaren right after the car’s completion.

What’s more, the sale comes with a complete set of items such as a spare steering wheel, original gold-plated titanium tools, spare keys, leather-cased owners handbooks, a TAG Heuer watch with engraved chassis number and more. A special highlight is the signature of McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray, which can be found on the rear right-hand side of the body.

The car is expected to sell for eight-figures in British pounds via supercar dealer Tom Hartley Jnr.
