While there are many practical yet beautiful design shelves dedicated for avid vinyl record collectors, few can get away from the standard, boxy format with additional attention paid on the aesthetic side. The Open 45 Credenza from Sitskie sets a nice example of how a well designed piece of credenza caters to the practical needs with extra points.

Designed by Adam Friedman of the Detroit-based design studio, the Open 45 Credenza let user  store the records in sight next to the record player and ready to play. The credenza is available in  5-foot or 7-foot length and the shelves and panels for records, record player, books, speakers, headphone stand and more are all moveable for suiting each user’s set up. There is also a discrete cord channel that runs the length of the piece for neat cable management. The credenza is made of walnut wood and paired with brass finish legs as standard, with custom woods and finishes available on request.
