Founded by George Bamford, Bamford Watch Department has long been the go-to name for collectors who like their luxury watches with a twist of individuality. Known for its sharp sense of design and British irreverence, Bamford’s latest collaboration is as surprising as it is cool — a partnership with none other than Seiko.

This isn’t the usual custom job either. The Seiko 5 Sports SBSA315 Bamford Limited Edition is a true joint effort, built from the ground up. Inspired by Bamford’s idea of a journey to “paradise”, the design reinterprets Seiko’s classic SKX series through a collage of vintage details and modern playfulness.

The 42.5 mm stainless-steel case houses a blue translucent dial with retro indexes and hands borrowed from the 1980s SKX models, while a rotating disc underneath reveals the day and date — complete with Japanese kanji. The Bamford logo sits proudly at six o’clock and on the nylon strap clasp, tying the whole aesthetic together.

Neon accents across the bezel, hands, and strap come alive under black light, adding a cheeky, retro-futurist glow. Flip it over and you’ll find “LIMITED EDITION”, a serial number, and Bamford’s initials on the caseback as a finishing touch.
