Bell & Ross BR-03 Chrono Rafale Solo Display

French watchmaker Bell & Ross has long maintained close ties with the French military, even though its timepieces are crafted in Switzerland. Its latest release, the BR-03 Chrono Rafale Solo Display, underscores that connection and extends the brand’s partnership with the Patrouille de France, begun in 2021.

Limited to 500 pieces, the watch pays tribute to the Rafale Solo Display, the high-octane demonstration unit of the French Air and Space Force, renowned for its breathtaking aerial manoeuvres. Bell & Ross channels the qualities of the squadron into a timepiece built for extreme conditions — combining agility, precision, and raw power while celebrating French aviation heritage.

Set in a 42 mm micro-blasted black ceramic case, the watch blends toughness with understated style. Bright lacquered “START” and “RESET” pushers in orange and yellow evoke cockpit controls, while the matte black dial with Super-LumiNova numerals and hands ensures legibility in all conditions. Orange chronograph hands, a yellow date-window outline, and a Rafale silhouette complete the aeronautical theme.

The BR-03 Chrono runs on the in-house BR-CAL.301 automatic movement, offering a 42-hour power reserve, chronograph functions, and 100 metres of water resistance. Exclusive details mark the collaboration, including the Rafale Solo Display logo on the caseback and on the synthetic fabric strap, supplied alongside a black openworked rubber strap.
