While LEGO once released a lunar lander back in 2003, the Apollo 11’s Eagle lunar module this time around is highly detailed, and developed in cooperation with NASA.

The NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander set contains 1,087 pieces with a few new bricks launched for the first time. In the lego set you will discover pieces such as the gold-coloured landing pads and panels. The Eagle Lunar Lander has separate ascent and descent stages, with realistic elements including opening camera, laser hatches and a ladder and many many more. The ascent interior is sufficient for fitting the two astronaut minifigures inside. You also get a U.S. flag specially designed lunar surface for placing it onto the finished product, as well as crater and footprints for recreating the historical scene.
