Oil Stain Lab Half11 Prototype

The 1960s stands out as a golden era for racing, with numerous Le Mans race cars from the period still revered as the epitome of automotive excellence. This sentiment resonates strongly with California-based Old Stain Lab founders, twin brothers Iliya and Nikita Bridan. They have reimagined a Porsche 911-based road racer born in 1967, a car that once raced alongside legends like the Ford GT40 and Ferrari 330 P4.

The Bridan brothers have dedicated several years to the Half11 project, culminating in the creation of the first prototype showcased here. Crafted with a hand-fabricated aluminium body and a custom-fabricated tubular steel chassis, the Half11 subtly exudes a 911 aesthetic at the front. Its power source is a JMS Racing Chevy LS V8 engine, delivering 650 hp. This propels the 840kg vehicle from 0-100 kph in a mere 2.5 seconds, ultimately reaching a top speed of 200 mph. Old Stain Lab highlights a range of options and customizations for future production cars, including speedster or coupe variants, and a carbon fibre body with unique features such as low drag or long-tail versions.

The Half11 prototype was listed for sale at $600,000, though the selling page is no longer available. With that said, Old Stain Lab plans to produce a total of 25 examples, with the first deliveries expected by the end of the year, so there may still be an opportunity to acquire your own Half11.
