Before founding his own design company, Dubai’s Anthony Jannarelly was known for his hand in the look of futuristic hypercars like the Lykan Hypersport and Fenyr Supersport. In 2016, the designer’s very own Jannarelly Design-1 roadster was unveiled, referencing some of the best lightweight racers from the 1960s and powered by a 3.5-litre V6 paired with a six-speed manual transmission.

Now, a couple of years on, a new set of renderings from Jannarelly has been circulating online. Reportedly dubbed the Design-X1 Roadster, the new supercar from Jannarelly has a vivid neon body with a grey stripe and a red grille. The single-seater will feature an electric powertrain, though the automaker has not revealed any exact specifications. IIt looks as though the car is still in the concept stage and whether it will make it into the market depends on the public’s response.
