Personality overload at Goodwood Revival

kmo_6539

Goodwood Revival is so much more than just a race meeting; it’s an all–encompassing festival that transports you to another era from the moment you walk through the gates to the cheers of the 1966 English football team supporters club. While there’s no doubt that pit garages full of the world’s most desirable classic cars will always be the biggest draw card here, underneath all that perfectly shaped steel, alloy and leather, it’s the people that make the event what it is.

The Revival is the sort of place where the sideways glances and “what the hell is that guy wearing?” comments are reserved for the unfortunate souls who very unwisely decided to forgo period dress, turning up in their every day modern gear. It’s this environment, where at least 95 per cent of the tens of thousands of attendees are dressed in period, that makes the Revival what it is.

As day two winds down, we’ve selected a few of our favourites, with much more to be seen in the upcoming Volume 02 of our Goodwood series, available for pre-order in early November.
