Hender Scheme established its brand by reproducing fashionable sneakers using premium leather with incredible artisan craftsmanship. Now the Tokyo-based label is going far beyond shoes, launching a new furniture collection comprising of desks, chairs and basins, dubbed ‘re_creation’.

As its name suggests, the collection features recreations of vintage industrial-style furnishings with a touch of Hender Scheme’s signature vegetable-tanned leather on the cushions, back covers and leg wraps, showcasing founder and designer Ryo Kashiwazaki’s modern twist on classic industrial design.

To accommodate the launch, Hender Scheme will be setting up exhibitions and pop-up stores at CIBONE Aoyama and Sukima, starting from February 14 to March 13 and from February 14 to February 28 respectively. Head over to the brand’s website for more details.
