Ferrari On The Sea
1990 Riva Ferrari 32

We really don’t need to mention the street cred of the prancing horse on the road, but on sea it is a rare sight!  There aren’t many of them produced, and this particular Riva Ferrari 32 speedboat is one of them.

A special collaboration between Enzo Ferrari and fellow Italian Gino Gervasoni, Chairman of established boat maker Riva. The speedboat features design elements of the two brands blending together skilfully with the help of a team of designers and engineers. From the Testarossa style air intakes, the elongated F1 spoiler-looking deck feature to the Rosso Corsa colour, the boat screams Ferrari looking from afar without having to see the yellow prancing horse badges on the exterior.

As reflect in its name, the boat is 32 feet long and it’s powered by Riva branded twin 390-hp, 7,982-cc BPM Vulcano 400 V-8 engines with top speed of 54 knots. The design of the sleeping berth is minimal, but it continues with the red shade and is sufficient for two. This particular boat is the 28th out of 40 examples produced and will be heading to the RM Sotheby’s Fort Lauderdale auction on 29-30 March with an estimate of US$ 90,000-120,000.
