Extremely Luxurious
Karlmann King

Inspired by stealth fighter and coated in matte black, the Karlmann King is described as “ground stealth fighter” by its developer IAT Automobile Technology from Beijing. With that said, its extravagant, multifaceted diamond like shape isn’t exactly going to go unnoticed on the road, plus it comes with a USD $2 million and up price tag, making it the most expensive SUV ever offered.

The vehicle is based on the Ford F-550  and under the bonnet is the 6.8-litre V10 delivering 400 hp and enough torque to turn the earth on its axis. Equipped with four-wheel drive, a six-speed automatic transmission and air suspension, the SUV can conquer extreme conditions and run normally under -40 and up to 90 degrees Celsius, but its weight of 13,227 lbs (including the bullet proof exterior) only allows for a maximum speed of 140 km/h.

The diamond pattern is carried through to the interior. A few designs are offered, including one with a marble floor, crocodile skin on the seats and a lot of gold and bronze shades, but perhaps the monochromatic tone plus navy would match with the exterior better. The automaker claims it took  30,000 hours and a team of 1,800 people to create the first prototype, and only 9 examples will be produced.
