For decades, LEGO® Technic™ has been offering intricate models with real-world functionality for the more advanced builder. There have been some great releases from the Danish manufacturer over the last couple of years, and its latest offering keeps that trend going. LEGO has announced a new collaboration with motorcycle manufacturer Ducati to transform one of its most legendary superbikes into a meticulously-designed model for the joy of block-building enthusiasts everywhere.

This LEGO® Technic™ Ducati Panigale V4 R (42107) is the first motorcycle model LEGO has ever offered, and sports several iconic features that have been obsessively recreated — a 2-speed gearbox controls a V4-cylinder engine, suspension articulates in both the front and the rear, and plenty more — all created with the finest details possible given the limitations of the medium. Builders can discover how the innovative 2-speed gearbox activates the V4-cylinder engine, and how the different ratios affect the engine speed. The steering, disc brakes, exhaust pipe, windshield, and dashboard have all been exquisitely replicated, too, to make this replica model as true to the full-size version as possible.

The entire model comprises of a total of 646 pieces and is 32cm long, 16cm tall, and 8cm wide. Rumour has it we’ll be seeing availability from the beginning of June.
