Bringing Convenience To The Classics
Jaguar Land Rover Classic releases modern infotainment for classic cars

When sitting inside a classic car, perhaps the only thing we miss at times is the convenience of modern connection. However finding a suitable one, in terms of both the format and appearance, might not be easy. Jaguar Land Rover Classic has launched a new range of Classic Infotainment Systems with modern audio, navigation and functionality for classic Jaguar and Land Rovers that easily blends in with the retro dashboard.

The authentic-looking part is designed to work on classic vehicles running on negative earth electrics. The Classic Infotainment System units include satellite navigation in up to 32 languages, Bluetooth connectivity, dual DAB/DAB+ digital radio and FM/AM analog reception. Premium sound quality can be expected from the single DIN head unit with built-in 4 x 45-watt output. It also comes with a 3.5-inch high resolution touchscreen in addition to the rotary controls and buttons. The navigation system can be displayed as 2D or 3D maps and incorporates turn arrow instructions as well as traffic alerts. The smartphone functionality supports up to four devices where 1250 contacts each can be transferred to the system via Bluetooth. There is also the internal microphone for supporting hand-free calls.

The range is available in five designs, with a choice of black or chrome faceplate finishes dedicated for Jaguar classic cars, and black or silver brushed aluminium for the Land Rover branded units. They can also be installed into other classic cars with additional fitment solutions.
