Beautifully Told History
‘Il Fascino Ferrari’ by Taschen

When talking about beautifully printed coffee table books with high quality printing, Taschen is one outfit that naturally comes to mind. For one of its upcoming ventures, Taschen has teamed up with Ferrari to launch the exquisitely designed Il Fascino Ferrari. The book features exclusive content gathered from Ferrari’s own archives and private collections around the world. Over hundreds of unseen photographs and documents are revealed in the book to illustrate Ferrari’s unique story and legacy. It also comes with a complete appendix of Ferrari supercars and racing victories to date.

The extra large-sized book has 514 pages and is handcrafted, leather-bound and hand-stitched, featuring a metal Prancing Horse on the cover. There are two editions of Il Fascino Ferrari with a total print run of 1947 copies. The Collector’s Edition (No. 251–1,947) is enclosed in an aluminium case inspired by Ferrari supercars and designed by Marc Newson. Each copy is numbered and signed by Piero Ferrari. The Art Edition (No. 1–250) is even more extravagant, as the aluminium case is elevated by a hand-bent chromed steel sculpture resembling the 12-cylinder engine, also designed by Marc Newson. Each Art Edition will be signed by Sergio Marchionne, John Elkann, and Piero Ferrari.
