All-Electric Corvette
Genovation GXE

Genovation has introduced the production version of the new GXE (Generation Extreme Electric) at this year’s CES event. Paying tribute to the iconic Chevrolet Corvette but forgoing the traditional gas guzzling V8 engine with a full electric powertrain that generates 800 hp and 948 Nm, the GXE is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 354 km/h. The electric car can be configured with either a seven-speed manual or a paddle-shift automatic gearbox and offer a range of 280 km under normal driving conditions.

In terms of appearance, GXE is based on the Corvette but some details are modified, including new front splitter, bumper and bonnet. Each car will be painted with up to 15 individual coats to ensure a deep gloss. Additionally, the EV is fitted with carbon fibre wheels, a Brembo braking system and Alcantara and leather interior. Limited to 75 examples, the first batch is expected to be ready for delivery later this year.
