Italian coachbuilder Totem Automobili’s journey in paying homage to the vintage Alfa Romeo Giulia continues with the one-off Totem GT Super “Farina.” Part of a limited production run of just 40 exquisite restomods, this bespoke creation was recently unveiled to the public at Villa La Massa Excellence in Italy.
Commissioned by a private client, the “Farina” name was chosen as a personal tribute to tradition and timeless beauty. Its defining feature is the stunning Luci del Bosco paintwork, a deep metallic brown inspired by the rich tones of 1970s Italian sports cars. The finish is complemented by satin nickel trims and bright gold wheels, giving the car a confident yet elegant character that evokes classic motorsport heritage.
The exterior design is matched by an equally refined interior. Totem’s satin carbon-fibre package extends throughout the cabin, surrounding a luxurious blend of ivory Nappa leather, Alcantara, and precision-milled aluminium and stainless-steel detailing. Every control, from the new CNC-machined, backlit switches to the gated manual shifter, has been crafted for both practicality and aesthetic appeal.
Beneath its sculpted surface lies a 2.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 developed in partnership with Italtechnica, producing 591 hp and 700 Nm of torque, with an optional upgrade to 739 hp and 850 Nm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox, while three-way electronically adjustable suspension system allows drivers to fine-tune the car’s character directly from the cockpit.
This is a superb example of modern Italian coachbuilding, but with pricing starting at €539,000 for the standard Totem GT Super, and an extremely limited production run, securing one of the remaining builds will be no easy feat.
