Stepping into The Future City
The North Face Urban Exploration SS 2020

The Japanese Designer Kazuki Kuraishi, should be no stranger to any fashion-savvy.  He has been collaborating with numerous big brand names and has been a long-time guest designer of The North Face Urban Exploration.

This year, The North Face Urban Exploration and Kazuki join hands again.  Following the brand’s latest visionary theme, “The Future City”, Kazuki created the second capsule release for the Spring Summer 2020.  This highly anticipated capsule comes in two parts: Kazuki “Pink” and Kazuki “Lemon”.  The North Face’s proprietary fabric technology, Futurelightä, has also been applied for functional protection alongside with the trendiness by Kazuki.

Based on the iconic Denali and Mountain Light jackets, Kuzaki ditched his past muted-palette and military-inspired works; and picked two vibrant and energetic colours for the Spring/Summer.  With the use of the sharp colour on the signature earthy tone of the brand, the collection brings a 90s revival.

The Kazuki “Pink” has just been launched today (February 6).  9 of this 14-pieces Kazuki “Pink” collection are already on the rack, while the remaining 5 items will be officially launched on February 20.  One of the highlights of this collection is the first-ever women’s items presented by Kazuki, including the Alpha Waterproof Jacket in lightweight waterproof and breathable Pertexâ; a color-block FlashDry™Pullover Hoodie and Work Pants in DWRand Windwall™.   The Kuzaki “Lemon”, however, will only be out in April.
