Last year, Bamford Watch Department became the official customiser for LVMH brands, including Zenith, TAG Heuer and BVLGARI. This year, the British watch customizer decided to kick things off by introducing its first significant collaboration with one of Zenith’s iconic timepieces, with assistance from Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design.

The collaborative watch takes on the classic Zl Primero model, housing one of the oldest El Primero 400B Automatic movements. The 42mm-dial now features a matte black and white colour scheme that looks both uniquely simple and yet stylishly striking. You’ll notice fragment design’s signature dual thunderbolt motifs below the “El Primero” lettering, demonstrating that the collaborative watch is an extension of fragment’s aesthetics by using both modern and vintage-inspired techniques.
