Aston Martin is bring its luxurious aesthetic into the nautical world. Partnering with Quintessence Yachts and Mulder Design, Aston Martin’s first vessel, the AM37 Powerboat, was unveiled last week. As expected, the high levels of class and luxury usually found in an Aston Martin vehicle is all there.

The British car manufacturer deserves to be proud of what they have created, and the powerboat certainly stays true to the brand’s DNA. The design language and proportions of the marque has been translated into the boat, as the same craftsmen who worked on the One-77, Vulcan and DB11 were involved in the project. The 37-foot boat comes in two versions, with the top model AM37S achieving a top speed of 50 knots derived from twin 520 hp Mercury petrol engines.

With a fridge, microwave oven, coffee machine and, of course, a lavatory on board, the spacious cruiser can fit up to eight people in the rear seating area. The mood-lit and air-conditioned cabin further enhances the comfortable level, and the table in the galley can be transformed into a bed for overnight trips. Prices start from around £1,260,000 with a delivery period of around 32 weeks providing not too much customisation is required.
