Louis Vuitton has brought its ‘Time Capsule’ retrospective to Berlin, Germany after its successful debut in Hong Kong in April. The program, which takes us on a journey through the history of the Maison, and revisits its landmark innovations in technology and design, will open at the Französisches Palais, Unter den Linden, through October 8.

This year also marks the 40th anniversary of first Louis Vuitton store opened in Germany. The exhibition showcases a hand-selected collection of rare and celebrated objects from the Louis Vuitton archive, tracing back from the Maison’s beginnings in 1854 to the present day. A selected group of French artisans from the fashion house also demonstrated their virtuosity in traditional leatherworking that is the centrepiece of Louis Vuitton heritage for the last 160 years.
