Latest Mid-Rear Engined Supercar
Ferrari F8 Tributo

Ferrari has unveiled the F8 Tributo, the new mid-rear-engined sports car replacing the 488 GTB. The new supercar will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show on 5 March.

The two-seater berlinetta is packed with the marque’s renowned 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8, now tuned to generate 710 hp and 770 Nm and these figures are on par with those from the 488 Pista. Compared with the 488 GTB, F8 Tributo is 50 hp more powerful, 40 kg lighter and more aerodynamic efficient. In terms of performance, the 0-100 km/h sprint is completed in 2.9 seconds while taking 7.8 seconds for the 0-200 km/h, down by 0.1 second and 0.5 second respectively compared with its predecessor. Top speed is marked at strikingly 340 km/h.

The body of F8 Tributo is crafted with new design language that emphasizes on the high performance and extreme aerodynamic efficiency. The larger body and new aerodynamic solutions allow the increase of downforce and improvement on cooling. The new supercar pays tributes to iconic models such as the classic twin light cluster and body-coloured tail like the 308 GTB. Looking at the back of F8 Tributo you will see the F40 inspired Lexan rear screen showcasing the engine and the louvres aiding the extraction of hot air from the engine.

The interior of F8 Tributo is completely redesigned too, from the doors, the dash, the round air vents to the smaller steering wheel and brand new 7” passenger touchscreen display. Everything required to offer the best experience for both the driver and the passenger is there.
