Inspired by NYC
Bespoke Pininfarina Battista hyper GT

As one of the original Turin-based coachbuilders established nearly a century ago, Pininfarina has been expertly creating one-of-a-kind vehicles filled with bespoke elements for generations. It makes perfect sense, then, that all 150 examples of the automaker’s most powerful car ever  – the Battista electric hyper GT – will leave the factory with a unique and individually tailored treatment. Pininfarina just revealed the design of the very first Battista example, which takes its inspiration from New York City.

The exterior of the hyper GT features a red, white, and blue colour theme. The blue shade is not painted but weaved using Exposed Signature Carbon with Iconica Blu thread instead. This is the first application of such technology in the automotive industry. Adding to the NYC theme are the performance stripes and pinstriping applied by hand in Bianco Sestriere metallic and a red Exterior Jewellery Pack, plus a Furiosa Carbon Accent Pack finished in Black Exposed Signature Carbon to finish it all off. The Impulso wheels come in Dark Matt Grey, with brushed aluminium centre-lock rings anodised in black. The Goccia roof, rear diffuser, rear wing, and brushed aluminium headlight engraving are all finished in black.

Not much of the hyper GT’s interior can be seen on these images, but it features black leather with Iconica Blu Alcantara Pilota seats. Iconica Blu thread is used on the back of the carbon seats, as well as other white and red accents. Pininfarina has stated that there is a total of 128 million combinations of bespoke elements just for the interior, and a whopping 13.9 quintillion exterior combinations, which surely explains how distinctive each of the 1,900 hp Battista will hopefully be when they all finally see the light of day.
