Inspired By Las Vegas
McLaren Project Viva by MSO

As a one-off example filled with inspirations drawn from the location of this race weekend, Project Viva also pays homage to McLaren’s rich history and its latest achievements.

The livery of the 750S Spider becomes the canvas for the MSO team, although instead of the bright neon colours you might expect for a reinterpretation of the City of Lights, we see monochrome paintwork. It features bespoke shades such as Muriwai White, referencing the Muriwai House of Bruce McLaren, and an exclusive deep black infused with subtle flecks of cyan, magenta. and green known as Vegas Nights. Even the livery has its own name, Sketch in Motion, capturing the movement and character of the city with skyline landmarks including Paris Las Vegas, a roulette wheel with a chequered pattern and race cars, dice and playing cards bearing “750S”. The location text on the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign has also been changed to “MSO” for a playful twist.

Further McLaren references appear throughout the bespoke sports car, including Bruce McLaren’s helmet and the aforementioned Muriwai House. However, the ten World Championship stars may be the most meaningful, even though they sit quietly on the rear bumper. They emphasise the F1 team’s racing and design heritage, with the tenth star celebrating the team securing the Constructors’ title this season. Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have also added their signatures to the door sills for this special one-off 750S Spider.
